The grapes have been fermented and the wine has been put to barrel.
Crush 2019 is in the books!
The 2019 vintage will be outstanding.
Now it’s time to celebrate with the release of our 2015 Sangiovese!
This wine is superb. It was barrel aged for two years and bottle aged for two years.
It is a Super Tuscan-style blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Petit Verdot. Grapes were sourced in Washington and brought to San Diego to vinify.
And because Sangiovese is the signature wine of Tuscany, Chef Max Farina of Zafferano Catering will be preparing a traditional 3-course Tuscan-style dinner for just for you.
First Course: Pappa al Pomodoro
Homemade tomato soup with traditional Tuscan bread
Second Course: Fettuccine al Cinghiale
Handmade fettuccine with Wild Boar Ragú
Third Course: Peposa Dell’Impruneta
Tuscan Black Pepper Beef braised in Gianni Buonomo Sangiovese
Each guest will enjoy a stand-up/sit-down casual dinner and one glass of wine.
Sangiovese bottles are priced for sharing at only $25.00 all night for onsite consumption.
