Gianni Buonomo Vintners just returned to OB from the 2020 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition with TWO GOLD MEDALS!
With over 7000 wine entries, the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition is easily the largest competition in the world featuring only American produced wines. Over 60 experts within the media, trade, hospitality and education industries gather annually to judge these wines.
It’s time to join Team Gianni and winemaker Keith Rolle for a celebration of these
Gold Medal Winners: 2015 Barbera and 2015 Avennio.
This is a casual, 3-course dinner which includes a glass of either of the Gold Medal wines.
Bottles of the Gold Medal wines will be specially priced for onsite consumption at the celebration.
Chef Max Farina, founder of Zafferano Catering, is creating a fabulous 3-course dinner to pair with these exquisite Gold Medal wines.

Caponata con Burrata
Traditional caponata (sweet and sour): Italian eggplant, cherry tomato sauce, kalamata olives, capers, onions with fresh burrata cheese.
Polenta e Maiale
Soft polenta with homemade Italian fennel sausage ragú with pork shoulder and pork belly.
