Small San Diego Winery Showcased in Major California TV Markets
Based at KNBC-TV Los Angeles, “California Live” is a program that introduces viewers to newsmakers, celebrities and must-visit destinations across California. Producer and on-air correspondent Amber Pfister and her camera crew recently came to San Diego to feature the Ocean Beach winery Gianni Buonomo Vintners.
The piece initially aired on February 11, 2020 on KNTV San Francisco, KNBC Los Angeles and KNSD San Diego.
Winemaker Keith Rolle was asked how he felt having his winery featured in California’s largest television markets. “ Of course I’m stoked. We’re all stoked. They were looking for a place that had a certain uniqueness, but that also appealed to a broad TV audience. A winery at the beach certainly checked the box for uniqueness. And seeing that wine is so popular in California, I guess that box got a check too. It was a lot of fun doing that piece with Amber. I’m hoping for a big bump in visits to the winery.”
