Buonomo Grand Reserve Release featuring The French Gourmet
Gianni Buonomo Vintners releases the 2018 Buonomo Grand Reserve Cabernet Franc and the 2019 Buonomo Reserve Syrah and will feature a full-service dinner curated by Michel Malécot, the French Gourmet
As we prepare to close the books on 2023, we are organizing our End of Year Gala and you’re invited!
On Friday, December 29th at 6:30 pm we are bringing in legendary San Diego chef Michel Malécot of The French Gourmet, to curate a formal, full-service dinner with our two new Reserve wines.
Wine will be free flowing throughout the night and is included in the ticket price.
Featured will be our 2018 Cabernet Franc Grand Reserve. (4 years in French oak) and our 2019 Syrah Reserve (3 years in new Minnesota oak).
All of our whites and current release reds will also be included.

The menu is nothing short of spectacular and features the French classic, Coq au Vin.
Menu:
Display of Stationary Hors D’oeuvre
Cheeses, assorted salami, prosciutto with Greek olives, pickled garlic and cornichon
with crackers and thinly sliced baguettes.
Tray Passed Hors D’oeuvre
Duxelles Mushroom Puff
Bite-size puff pastry filled with a reduction of fresh sautéed mushrooms and baked to golden brown
Steak Tartar Baguettine and on Spoon
Freshly ground lean top sirloin mixed with our special sauce and served on a sliced baguette garnished with chopped egg
SIT DOWN AT 7:00 PM
French Onion Soup Gratinée
Flavorful onion soup topped with a slice of French bread and Swiss cheese baked until golden brown
Coq au Vin (GF)
Classic French dish of braised and marinated airline chicken breast and leg, mushrooms and onion in a robust red wine sauce
Whipped Mashed Potatoes
Roasted Brussel Sprouts and Cauliflower finished with a touch of grain mustard and balsamic
Dessert
Poached Pear with Fig Mascarpone
Red wine poached pear with reduction of poaching juice
